Dr Ajay is currently an Honorary Professor of Paediatric Haematology at the University of Sheffield and a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, UK. He is also the Chief Investigator of UK and International clinical trials in Childhood Leukaemia, Stem Cell Transplantation and CART cell therapy. Professor Ajay graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Bombay University in 1982, after which he received a Doctorate of Medicine from the same University in 1986. This was followed by a number of certifications including MRCP (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK) in 1989, Membership of the Royal College of Pathologists, UK in June 1991, Fellowship of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK in 1997, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists, UK in 1999.
