Dr. Viney qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical school with the Kings Heath and Moseley Scholarship. He undertook his basic and higher surgical training in the region whilst gaining a Masters in health care management and a PhD in immune responses and gene therapy in prostate cancer. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Birmingham and is actively involved in ongoing research and trial work.
